Trans Atlas Marathon 2019
Welcome to the Atlas Mountains
This race is an epic one. 7 days of off road driving and medical support for the multistage 2019 Trans Atlas Marathon. You'll drive. you'll treat, you'll sleep in bedouin camps, you'll eat Moroccan food, you'll spend a night in a luxury Marrakech hotel. Most of all you'll Exile in the spectacular Atlas Mountains doing what we do best. You will arrive in Marrakech on the evening of the 7th June 2019 and leave on the 17th June 2019. Approximately half of an easy jet flight cost will be covered.
This race is a 250km multistage event through the Atlas Mountain Range, 3-4 hours drive from Marrakech at Jbel Toubkal. Make no mistake, you'll work hard and long here, but in the Lord of the Rings-esque backdrop of the Atlas mountains, we don't think you'll mind. You will need to be able to fend for yourself during the days. Breakfast, dinner and accommodation at base camps is provided, but you need to bring lunch food, snacks and as ever, be able to live and function independently if the situation calls for it.
Morocco: tick. Mountains: tick. Rare opportunity to practice ,medicine int he wilds of North Africs: tick.

Cost: The Trans Atlas Marathon (TAM) 2019 costs £170 for the admin fee on acceptance of your place (VAT incl). You will buy your flight and approximately half the costs of an easyjet flight from London will be reimbursed to you. Compare this to other training organisations, and you'll agree that this is a good deal.
An important note about VAT: According to the Value Added Tax 1994 c.23 we are obliged by HMRC to charge VAT on the admin fee at a rate of 20% to all Exiles who reside in the UK and European Union.
